Ivan Smirnov , Yaroslavl soldier - poet . Will always remember .

20.02.2014g . in Yaroslavl Library . M. Lermontov hosted a recital dedicated to the memory of Yaroslavl writer Ivan Alexeyevich Smirnov.

Ivan was born on January 20, 1921 , defending the Soviet Union during World War II , survived the collapse of power and it can be said to fit into the life of bourgeois Russia . Gone to another world in the twenty-first century , a day after the 93 th anniversary , January 22 2014goda .

Ivan was born on a farm near the village mill Yakushev Poshekhonsky District . Then the family moved to the village pantry. In first grade , he went to school in the village Voschikovo . His mother , Lusha Ivanovna , died early , at age 37 , when his son was 12 years old. And as he saw Ivan, thats why he lived so long - it may bless his mother . Smirnov many young poets and writers gave a start in life : helping with the work , fussed about housing, supported morally instructed . From 1964 on , he headed 1986god Yaroslavl branch of the Union of Writers SSSR.Ivan Alexeyevich Nekrasov esteemed great countryman and he belongs to the idea to create a poetry festival in the estate Karabikha - " Nekrasovsky Karabikha days ."
