World Osteoporosis Day Celebrations in Russia in 2014Using all IOF recommendations for WOD celebrations, Russian Association on Osteoporosis (RAOP) developed directions and recommendations for all Russian osteoporosis centers with the focus on "Osteoporosis in Men" and the slogan - "Healthy bones make a strong man." A competition for the best poster was held all over Russia and the best three posters in three age groups were chosen.
Together We are UnbreakableSeptember ,13 was a big day in Yaroslavl, a beautiful city on the Volga river , Russia- the first ever Run “Golden Ring-2014 “ was held. The “Osteorus” team “Together We are Unbreakable” devoted the Run to celebration of World Osteoporosis Day. One of the family teams performed especially successfully and took the third place in a 3 km. race.
